More 5 Day Clubs in Charlotte

Here are the last of our summer 5 Day Clubs.  This summer really flew by!!!  We are so thankful that 589 children heard the Gospel and that 165 of those children accepted Jesus as their Savior!!!

5 Day Clubs 2010 in CHARLOTTE!!

So summer is coming to a close soon, but 5 Day Clubs are still going strong in Charlotte.  There are five of us in the Charlotte Chapter this year, although we've been very thankful to have some other people helping out!  This summer, hundreds of kids have heard about the Gospel and many have made professions of faith (praise the Lord!!).  We've been doing clubs in several Salvation Army Boys and Girls Clubs.  Some of them include Delehay Courts, Belmont, Marsh Road, Milton Road, Boulevard Homes, Plaza Baptist, Kidville Kovar, June Bugs, and more!!  We've been blessed to be a part of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) for yet another year.

This is a picture from training camp in Asheville.  Lauren helped with some of the teaching sessions, and Jennifer helped doing demonstrations during those sessions.  It was quite an experience (which we loved)!

 Christopher and I did an outside club in Monroe. It was SO hot, but we have a total of about 72 kids come!!! Several people from 3 different churches came to watch us and help out with gathering kids and providing food afterwards. It was great!!

We've been blessed this summer and are thankful for the many lives being reached for Jesus Christ.

Praise the Lord for opening so many doors this summer so we could teach 5 Day Clubs!!

And so the ministry continues!

While 5-Day Clubs are not going on during the school year, Good News Clubs are!  Good News Clubs are after-school programs where schools have a Bible "club" every week.  Mr. Michael (the Charlotte Metro director) and the people working with him go to these schools and teach the Gospel to the children there.

Mr. Mike helped minister to about 600 children in chapel services at Metrolina Christian School in Indian Trail and Cramerton Christian Academy recently.  Praise the Lord!

Children are being impacted for Christ because of the Church Adopt A School Program.  This program is a ministry for your church to take the Good News about Jesus Christ into the public school.  CEF provides the training and resources to prepare volunteers from your church to have a weekly Bible Good News Club at a local school.

5-Day Clubs

Well we are in our third week of 5-Day Clubs!  So far, we've been to places such as Kidville Kovar Daycare, Junebugs Daycare, McCrorey YMCA, Milton Road Salvation Army, Marsh Roads Salvation Army, Progressive Baptist, and others.  It's been a *great* summer so far.  Here are some pictures of what we've been doing over the past few weeks.
